It is at the south and east end of Dream's southern paddock. The beach is called 1st and 2nd Sand Cove since there are coves at both ends of the beach and the island is called Little Island. This is the beach that I normally walk the dogs because it is completely sheltered from the north, east and west winds. To get to it is a matter of scaling down a red sand stone cliff.
I never bring the horse to this beach because there is not a safe path for him and I would fear Dream falling and breaking his legs. I ride on the big beach which is about 22 miles long. Sand cove is only about a quarter of a mile in length.

Simply beautiful. I love the beach. There is something calming about hearing the waves crash on the shoreline.
gorgeous pic and what a writers inspiration just to sit out there would be so great.
