Power Failures Due To High Winds

We had had exceptionally high winds the past couple of weeks. Our lines into the house are weak and we have experienced power surges and failures. One of our main power supplies is burned out and must be replaced. In the meantime there will be no activity on this or other blogs maintained by me. Sorry for the inconvenience!

About Gimme A Dream - The Horse

Gimme A Dream was born in 1999 and was most likely bred for the hunter class in jumping and dressage. As a young colt he displayed symptoms of a poor configuration. It was believed that he would out grow his affliction and trained for jumping and dressage under English equipment. At three it was becoming apparent that he would have his poor conformation for life and was sold for the amount of $6000 CDN. Quickly it became apparent that he was not acceptable for his new owner and after realizing that she wouldn't be able to retrieve her investment, she traded him for a full-bred Morgan mare. This trade was done without mention of his difficulties. After three years, and a name change, Dream was bought and brought to the islands. He is 17hh, which makes him a very big boy, indeed. Here, he will stay, doing whatever he is capable of doing and that which is within his own interests.
