It was a peaceful march, making everyone aware that the time for tolerance of illegal drugs has come to an end. "NO MORE DRUGS" and "ASSEZ C'EST ASSEZ" (Enough is Enough) the group of near one hundred protesters chanted. They walked miles this afternoon, in bumper to bumper traffic, chanting and whistling while drivers blew their horns in support and passengers gave the thumbs up sign to the protest.
During the summer on the Magdalen Islands, there are approximately ten times more visitors then there are residents. The road system is not capable of handling so very much traffic, thus the streets were filled to capacity on this beautiful August afternoon.
