I listened to this little six-year-old Connie and cried. I've never heard such a beautiful voice before.

About Gimme A Dream - The Horse

Gimme A Dream was born in 1999 and was most likely bred for the hunter class in jumping and dressage. As a young colt he displayed symptoms of a poor configuration. It was believed that he would out grow his affliction and trained for jumping and dressage under English equipment. At three it was becoming apparent that he would have his poor conformation for life and was sold for the amount of $6000 CDN. Quickly it became apparent that he was not acceptable for his new owner and after realizing that she wouldn't be able to retrieve her investment, she traded him for a full-bred Morgan mare. This trade was done without mention of his difficulties. After three years, and a name change, Dream was bought and brought to the islands. He is 17hh, which makes him a very big boy, indeed. Here, he will stay, doing whatever he is capable of doing and that which is within his own interests.

1. I graduated college (health sciences - vet medicine) and finished three years university (vet medicine - computer sciences) before the money ran out.
2. I traveled through seven European countries without a passport.
3. I was a parade princess for the Calgary Stampede one year.
4. My first job was selling roses at Calgary bars before I was legally old enough to be there.
5. I did my seventh school year in four different schools and three different languages.
6. I have one son whom I am so proud of.
7. I have never been married.
8. I have rejected 8 engagement rings.

1. I have more education than brains.
2. I spent three summers, alone on a deserted island.
3. During my drivers test I ran over a dog, who scrunched down and then walked away.
4. During that same test I slipped through a stop sign, while on ice.
5. During that same test, I drove in the ditch while avoiding an ice cream truck.
6. During that same test, I earned my chauffeurs license, with highest marks for avoiding disastrous accidents.
7. That was my second try at the driving test.
8. A dog trying to chew the tires of my car, while I was driving, made me fail the first test (damn dog).

3. I am an accredited International Scuba Diver.
4. I have sky dived exactly one time.
5. I am a very good shot with a rifle and have only used male paper human targets.

8. I have been in and out of love too many times in my life.

1.Who has been the most influential person in your life?
- My mum was the most influential person in my life because she taught my sister and I, to have wings and roots.

2.If you could be one actor or actress who is it that you choose to be and why?
- I have never imagined myself to be in another's shoes. I admire the most..., actors who can play the part of any number of roles. Johnny Depp comes to mind at this moment because he will never be typecast. I believe that Jessica Alba is also moving in that direction and I will grow to admire her talent. Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Alex Guinness are two of the greats that I admire, who would never be at loss for words and I would like to have similar talent.

3. Your most crazy and humorous moment please include details?
- Halloween day I got the idea of creating and putting up new roadsigns. One of the signs said that Old Harry Head road was a one-way street with no exit and stopped traffic until the police removed the sign a short time later.

4. If you could run for a prestigious job position what would it be and why?
- What is a prestigious job? A stay at home mum, because there is nothing more memorable, more precious than the memories a child has of his/her mother.

5. If you could change just one thing for our youth what would it be?
- If I could change one thing, I would have my parents be more protective of my older sister. Why you ask, because if she hadn't made mistakes then I would have been allowed to do some of the things she was allowed to do.

1. Who was your best friend? Claudette, but I lost touch with her a few years ago.

2. Did you play any sports? This and that, mostly individual things.

3. What kind of car did you drive? A Yamaha motorcycle 150cc.

4. It’s Friday night. Where were you? Home in bed, reading.

5. Were you a party animal? Not a bit!

6. Were you considered a flirt? Not once!

7. Were you in the band, orchestra or choir? Played clarinet in the school orchestra. Wasn't that good though.

8. Were you a nerd? I was shy, but not smart enough to be a nerd.

9. Were you ever suspended or expelled? No - I was too shy to cause trouble. Not even the teachers noticed whether I was there or not.

10. Can you sing the fight song? I don't even know what the fight song is.

11. Favorite teacher? I never had a favorite I don't think since I can remember a few but nothing specific. Dr. Jones in college was a definite favorite though.

12. What was your school mascot? In eleven years of schooling I can count 15 schools. Which mascot do you want?

13. Did you go to the Prom? No, never bothered. I was probably out of the country by the time I graduated anyway. I didn't miss anything.

14. If you could go back, would you? Not a chance! I was way too shy and had no real friends because we moved every time I'd start to settle in.

15. What do you remember most about graduation? Absolutely nothing because I wasn't there. My graduation certificate caught up with me a couple of months later.

16. Where were you on Senior Skip Day? What is Senior Skip Day? I guess that answers this question.

17. Did you have a job your senior year? Sold roses on the street and outside bars.

18. Where did you go most often for lunch? I can't remember!

19. Have you gained weight since then? That's for sure! I had a ballerina type figure.

20. What year did you graduate? Which graduation do you want. 1973, 1983 or 1986.

21. Who was your Senior Prom Date? Didn't go to the prom and probably wouldn't have had a date if I did. I was way too shy...

22. Are you going/did you go to your 10 year reunion? That happened long ago and no I didn't go, since I can't even remember any names at all.

After nine days I let my belly flop free
cause I really really had to pee
