Bloggers and Writers!!!

For all you Bloggers and writers out there in lala land, there is a new writing community on the networks, that pays you to write, review and to back link to your blogs. Now we all know the reason we write blogs is to have someone read them.... Well here is another possibility..., Qassia!

I joined a few days ago, as a favour to a Yuwie friend, who was constantly sending me referral hookups. This one she pushed me when I was in a good mood I guess, so I joined and left, not paying any attention to it.

This evening, while dropping EntreCard, I came across another who was a member. So I used her link to get in because believe it or not you have to use a member to join. You can't go through the front door, as one would expect. Qassia is still in it Beta form, but will soon be out of it. I don't know if they will be excepting writers after that period.

Anyway, getting back to the story, it appears that I have been earning money there without know it. This is my balance sheet for my three listed blogs. WOW!!!!! And that was without trying.

By-the-way, you can see my listings and the lack of work I do by clicking the link.
Qassia listings for my three web logs:

Gimme A Dream http://gimmeadream.blogspot.com$3.30

Magdalen Islands http://magdalenislands.blogspot.com$3.30

Gimme A Dream's Arts and Crafts http://uniqueitems.blogspot.com$3.40

I suspect that there is not really that much involved in the way of financial advancement, since the $10 is really only in Qassia dollars which can be exchanged for real money. I don't know the exchange rate though. However, it wouldn't be difficult to run the amount of Qassia credit up quite high, quite fast.

Now a writer can write for Qassia, sharing intel about things they know about, or they can rate for Qassia, which is reading the works of other writers and you get $5 ~ $15 Qassia dollars for every intel you rate.

However, I think the main value to a site like Qassia for writers and bloggers are the back links to your sites!

To sweeten the pot so to speak, you can add google adsense to your Qassia page and you get 100% of the revenue generated by those ads.

So, if anyone is interested in joining Qassia or even just looking to see it's value, you can do so through my link at Gimme A Dream @ Qassia

It Is All About Making a Living!!!

Gimme A Dream Has Opened a Store at Last!!!

Want Traffic?

Get It Here!
This is a SEM - Search Engine Marketing system.

At this point I can't tell you anything more than it is free for a couple more weeks only. I have a lot of studying to do..., but because this is a system in its BETA form still, until March, they want people to test it. So I put it up now without a good testing.

I am sorry for not explaining it better!

As I find out more I'll add to this post or set up another depending on it's importance. In the meantime this system promises to raise my site to the number one spot within the next three months, for the five keywords that I own. If anyone has anything to sell, they should get in on this..., even if you are selling freelance writing or children's stories or novels.

Pay-Per-Click Marketing is more like traditional advertising – you pay to be shown in the search engine listings for specific keyword phrases. But unlike traditional media, you don't pay for impressions, you only pay when someone actually clicks on your ad – hence the term "pay-per-click." PPC is the blue area of a search screen.
Organic Search Engine Optimization – or SEO for short – is more like public relations. You cannot buy 'publicity' for your site, you have to work for it by undertaking specific techniques and strategies. Generally, these activities include making changes to your website to included targeted keyword phrases and increasing the quality and number of incoming links to your website. It is the pink area of the google search screen.

Sea Side Collection - Dolphins

I put up another keychain on the Gimme's Crafts blog if any one wants to.

Actually there is a second 3-D key chain also. That sort of came bout by accident because it started on 2 dimensional and sort of wove itself around..., lol.

Also I've started putting up daily news of the Magdalen Islands on that blog. I know most of you won't be interested but for the few islanders who do frequent this site, well..., there you go. I'm going to try a bit harder with the islands site.

The SeaSide Collection

I have posted another craft project on the Gimme's Crafts and Unique Items site. It is a Key Chain made for macrame. A soft cotton twine was used, in a winter white color. It has a pewter sail boat charm attached.

New Beginnings

I call these earrings the New Beginnings Collection because they remind me of New Years. When dressing for the New Years Eve party, the type of jewelry worn would be something flashy, like these.

These earrings are made in macrame of a number 30, glitter thread. It is like having sparkles at every movement. The blue glass Czech beads are of outstanding quality as are the little white snow beads. The hooks are silver coated. I must admit, they are stunning in artificial light, though the color is a little drab in natural lighting. The camera does not pick up the life and spark of these little gems.

The matching necklace will be a while because while it is very tedious work to macrame in thread, it appears that I didn't buy enough thread for the entire job and must return for more. I had a spool of thirty yards.

All in all, the quality and originality of these and the other pieces done in these collections is astounding. I would never have expected it of myself to be capable of such art work.
