After having four more kittens, our dear little SweetPea has started to gobble her food to keep it away from the kittens who are now six months old. Actually only two of the four are determined to eat everything in site. This has lead to a rather disturbing problem - vomiting! Totally yuck!
I've decided I have to do something to correct SweetPea's eating habits. So after doing a little research, I decided to try garlic and a blender to give her more digestible food. This is the first recipe I tried and lo and behold..., she managed to keep the food down.
1cup - rice baby cereal (pre-mixed with water)
1 bottle lamb baby food, ( turkey or chicken is just as good)
1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese
1/8 - 1/4 fresh pressed garlic
Mix the ingredients and divide into 3 to 4 meals

Poor Sweetea. Hope she continues to feel better.
humffff! It is not SweetPea suffering here! I never imagined a cat wolfing food like a dog. I couldn't have swallowed the piece of chicken breast she upchucked. It must have got stuck in her throat. At that rate, I'd have to learn the Heimlich maneuverer for cats.
